You have knowledge, skills, and abilities that the world needs.  Perhaps not the entire world but part of it.  Remember you don’t need the entire world to need what you offer, just a tiny sliver.

Make a list of your assets, everything you know how to do with a level of competence and confidence that you are proud of.  Don’t just focus on things you consider yourself “an expert” in.  Be generous to yourself.

Looking at the list you created identify your top 3-5 assets. What you are the best at and what you enjoy the most? Everyone has fans, whether they know it or not. What do your fans know, like and trust you for today?

Leading with something you are already a rock star at seems like a no-brainer, but it seriously is one of the last things we think of because it is right in front of us.

Leading with your easiest to monetize, highest skilled asset has huge advantages.  You are probably already known, liked and trusted for that thing.  If you aren’t already known it will be much easier to establish yourself as an expert with a strong background behind you that you can draw on.

4.   Get Specific
Narrowing it down to just one offer will make it simple for prospective clients not only to find you but hire you. Being very specific will make you stand out as an expert in a crowded, noisy world.

Creating specificity will help you get clear on exactly what you do so you can clearly convey it to potential clients.  It also has the added benefit of being something you can walk out into the world and sell tomorrow, the shorter the runway the closer the profits.
